You can contribute to the Peace and Global Witness Offering throughout October. One of four Presbyterian Church USA offerings collected each year, the Peace and Global Witness Offering enables the church to promote the peace of Christ by addressing systems of injustice in our own communities and around the world. Part of the offering will be distributed locally. This year, the local share will go to Morgantown’s Rape and Domestic Violence Information Center. Designated envelopes are available in the pews for your use.
Presbyterian Women are taking orders for denim shirts with the PW logo. The shirts are $40 (plus $5 shipping) and come in sizes small through 4X.

We, the people of First Presbyterian Church, are a welcoming congregation practicing the hospitality of Jesus by greeting, welcoming, and embracing visitors and guests. In addition to extending hospitality, we gladly assist visitors by helping them find their way through the building. If you’re unsure of where something is, just ask! We happily and consistently endeavor to reflect Christ’s love to visitors, guests, neighbors, and each other.
Attention Parents: We have a kids’ space in the back of the sanctuary with sensory and quiet activities to give children an outlet during worship. Don’t worry if a little noise comes from one of our little worshippers - we are grateful to have all ages in worship with us! We also have a nursery on the lower level for infants through age 5. Please feel free to take your children to meet our nursery attendants, Janine and Teanna, if you wish to do so.
We have a Prayer Place in the sanctuary for you to share prayer requests prior to the service. These requests will also be used to create a church prayer list distributed each week.
