Co-pastor Kris Haig has a special interest in creative worship, education, and spiritual formation. An ordained Presbyterian pastor for over 15 years, a spiritual director for over 25 years, and a member of the denominational national staff in spiritual formation for over 10 years, she has preached, taught, written, and led events widely. For over 10 years she wrote a monthly column for Presbyterians Today, and regularly provides leadership at conferences. A former university instructor in psychology, she currently teaches New Testament at Waynesburg University.
Co-pastor John Sonnenday focuses his ministry on worship, teaching, pastoral care, and outreach to the community. He has previously pastored congregations in New York, Maryland, and Virginia and has served as a conference and retreat leader for congregational, regional, and national gatherings. He has a special interest in ministry to the poor and marginalized in the community and currently works part-time with Caritas House, which offers educational and support services to persons with HIV/AIDS in the twenty-five northern counties of West Virginia.
